Company Annual Day

These days we all are just wasting time preparing something for the company's annual day. It is fun to be on the organizing committee and esp when delegating responsibility.

A new guy

Our company recently hired a new guy from US ( he's a chinese by origin, born in US). He joined our India office as a Sales guy, so me n Vij went to pick him up at the airport.
We had a board saying "Welcome MATTHEW FONG - NeoACCEL". ( To make this banner, it took one guy 1 hr, tryin out all possible fonts, positions and sizes..)

These international flights are just like the indian rails, never on time. The flight was suppose to arrive at 2.05 am , but it landed at 2.45 am, n there we were holding that banner, looking out for Matthew. I wished we had a similar banner like " The Lady in Red or Black" .. :)

So finally he can out n while going back we said that u shud greet everyone in the office tomorrow by saying "Namaste" , n the next thing he says is "I hope it is not something like - Fuck you or anything like that.".

This guy is quite enthu about everything.. we gave him typical Indian food, took him to a tapri for tea + samosa's, n he was just eager to try out all the things. Next item is to make him learn Hindi.

Global Warming

A very dangerous "phrase" during the end of 20th century.
But i think that instead of getting Warm, the earth is getting Colder.

Mumbai, a place where there is no need of a quilt, even during Mid-Dec / Jan, is getting cold..
n other places in north are getting colder by the day.

Waise is blog ka koi sense nahin hai..phir bhi who cares anyway :)
