Independence Rock XX

"I was there, where the Fn3k where you?"

This year IROCK got delayed by one and half months,but thank god it did happen. It was my 4th IROCK, and probably the BEST of all times.

There is a rumor going around that probably this would be the last IROCK, well all of you must have read it in the papers ( TOI )

I went on Day 2, where the last day's winner's and some other famous band perform.
The first part of the show was performed by the following bands:

1. Demonic Resurrection. ( Total fuck all)
2. AFS ( Played Black Sabbath and RATM ) - good
3. PDV ( Guitars were awesome, vocalist fucked up)

The first part was a total fuckall, all trash metal - slayer, pantera etc etc... The crowd was going bezerks , running in circles making a mosh pit and pushing each other as it always happen.

Then part 2 of the show started
It was being performed by people who have performed long time back in some IROCK. They were old timers ( called the "Dinosaurs" of Rock)
They played some real cool music like Led Zeppelin, The Doors,and some old rock and roll

There was a female too who sang "Whole Lotta Love" by Led Zepp, and as Farhad said, "when he first heard her, she blew him away", I and many could not deny him. She was simply simply superb..and i guess Robert Plant would also agree to me ;)

There was a full classic rock song going on , and i was singing on the top of my voice. My throat was fucked up.. i couldn't scream any more,but still i was screaming.

Then came "The voice" - Gary Lawyer. This was the first time that i was hearing him, and i'll tell you he is superb too, that why he has been performing on every IROCK

He sang 3 songs of the greatest Rock band of all time, and my favorites - "The Doors"
1. Roadhouse blues
2. LA Woman
3. Break on through

finally he sang.
Creed - My sacrifice,
Smoke on the water, and
Mustang Sally


MAN IROCK totally rocks.. and hell it was the best ever i have attended so far...
